Collection: Midwives of Peace, A True Spiritual Community

 Midwives of Peace Mission: To create a strong community of trust, hope, faith, and deep inner peace within ourselves and among members.

The inner peace we create for ourselves is our contribution to world peace – a new world waiting to be born.

My Story: A recent illness, triggered by what I considered an act of betrayal by a healer that I trusted, has helped me understand the meaning of true freedom on an emotional level. For me, true freedom is being able to ask questions when in doubt and express my truth without fear of being rejected, abandoned, criticised, or judged. This experience has renewed my desire to create a space based upon these values for a true spiritual community in Copenhagen, inspired by the joyful ideology of Dr. Scott Peck.

The Midwives of Peace Community Experience: A safe space for women who believe we are souls having a human experience, and wish to pursue spiritual enquiry. Together we can experience the connection between the inner life of spirit/soul and the outer, material life of action. We can share our stories, vulnerability, strengths, and dreams without fear of rejection and judgment. In this protected, compassionate environment, we can see each other with softer eyes. We will work on: strengthening our connections to our soul; putting our needs first; setting clear boundaries; resolving past issues; developing trust; addressing self-deception, and more. 

Our tool is LISTENING. I know through my own experiences that by active compassionate listening of another’s story, answers to my challenges comes. Listening with your heart heals even the deepest of our wounds. Healing our wounds bring us inner peace, an inner calm. This has been a big part of my inner journey.
